About The Author
C. Eric Ott, the author of Jamie’s Watch, is a native of the western United States. His educational background includes a B.A. in English, an M.A. in Linguistics, and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. Dr. Ott is an educational administrator and researcher. In addition to his professional specialty of second-language training, he enjoys music, drama, and literature. Trained and experienced as a technical writer, Dr. Ott has authored numerous research reports and has published articles in professional journals. Eric is married to the former Marilyn Chapman. Among their children is an autistic son, Kevin, who was born in 1982. Kevin is the inspiration and model for the autistic boy in Jamie’s Watch.
